NYC Design Factory, New York City, NY | Software Engineer September 2024 – present

• Deploying software solutions with business objectives according to the specifications of a company sponsor in collaboration with Aalto University.

• Creating a smart industrial switch to collect data using custom API from a WiFi module and developing an application from scratch for data visualization and monitoring as per client requirements.

• Traveled to Katko's factory in Helsinki, Finland, to meet stakeholders, observe operations, and conduct prototype testing.

• Cross-functional collaboration with UI/UX designers, mechanical, and electrical engineers and researchers and interfacing both technical and non-technical audiences to optimize features and ensure quality results. 

YMCA of Greater New York, New York City, NY | IT Specialist Intern June 2024 – September 2024

• Built submission, management, and request portals for vendors and staff using the Retool JavaScript framework, integrating with AWS S3 and MySQL. This reduced time spent on vendor requirement processes by 80%.

• Resolved escalated help desk support requests across 24 branches and off-site locations.

AI Translation App – SpeakEz (React, Agile) December 2024

• Worked in a team of 6 to develop a responsive AI-integrated website using React and Tailwind CSS. Implemented voice input with OpenAI Whisper for speech-to-text recognition and transformers for translation using Hugging Face trained AI model.

Elevation App (Ionic React) May 2024 

• Designed and created a mobile web app in React that takes live geographical data (elevation/precipitation/etc.) from the surrounding area and suggests clothing and shoes for the user to wear during that day.
